In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch a short news video and do a listening exercise about a vertical farming company in Sweden. It includes discussion questions and other speaking activities about farming, agricultural crises, and food. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms and phrases from the video. The post-viewing section includes activities on prepositions, vocabulary context usage, and verb forms. The grammar activity features the present continuous in the passive voice. There are additional speaking tasks included, as well as a quiz and review section.
