In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch and listen to a video of a man who wants to meet new people in New York City and approaches strangers. It includes discussion, conversation, and vocabulary activities about approaching and talking to strangers. Students then do some listening/viewing comprehension activities based on the video. The viewing follow-up includes some additional discussion, and activities on linking in pronunciation and asking questions. There is an additional "talking to strangers" task as well as a quiz & review and lesson reflection included.
