Lesson Description

Video Description

Great Big Story does a cover on the national sport of Ireland - known as hurling. The game predates Irish history and used to be training for warriors in ancient times. In this video, meet one of its players, Danny Cullen, who is the senior captain of his county’s team in a rural county of Ireland. For him and many other, hurling is much more than just a sport.
