OBJECTIVE & OVERVIEW

They then proceed to do a grammar activity focusing on active and passive voice, discussing and converting sentences between the two voices, and forming sentences using the correct voice.

INDEPENDENCE DAY COMMUNICATIVE TASK

In this activation, students discuss questions related to their native country’s Independence Day or a similar holiday and compare them with American Independence Day. They then choose a country and research its independence day, presenting facts in both active and passive voice.
