In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch a short animated video about a meditative exercise and mental health. It includes discussion questions, conversation, and other activities about meditation, bad habits, and mental health. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms and phrases from the video. It comes with a section on prepositions, and the grammar exercise features the usage of the second conditional. There are additional speaking tasks, as well as a quiz and review section with a bonus activity.
It's hard to change something that you can't see. This story demonstrates that awareness is the first step toward positive change, in our minds, and in our lives. It's great motivation for your meditation practice, and the perfect reminder to ... look out for that hole!
