Lesson Description

In this ESL lesson plan for adults, students watch a video and do a listening exercise on an interview between Nelson Mandela and Oprah Winfrey. It includes discussion questions and conversation activities about Mandela, oppression, apartheid, and world peace. Students learn some important vocabulary terms and phrases from the video. The post-viewing section includes activities on quotes from the video with CCQ questions, vocabulary context usage, and antonyms for some of the nouns from the video.
